Economic and Workforce Development Day

• Objective: To give knowledge and understanding of the various organizations that work together to promote economic and industrial development in Shelby County.

In February, the Leadership Shelby County learns from some of the largest businesses based in Shelby County, as well as its smaller, more local enterprises. These businesses present on how they lead their employees and bolsters Shelby County’s economy. Tours, panels, and leadership workshops take the class all over Shelby County and grant the class valuable knowledge that they will carry with them starting as early as the next morning when they return to work.
